Images is a "Must Have"

Albeit dated, this 1976 Grammy winner is one of the finest examples of Alto Sax playing in existence. There are the normally schmaltzy LeGrand arrangements but with Phil Woods' help thy come off fresh and never tedious.
The title piece, "Images", is simply amazing. Both Phil and Michel play as well as I have ever heard them and the arrangement is complex and intense.
