Pure quality, and is well worth every dollar.
This is an extremely high quality unit. It works great with my 7610 running remote. It is really necessary for remote operation with the 7610 or other ICOM rigs that it will work on. Icom RC-28 remote encoder knob
This remote encoder has a nice heavy base which keeps in in place during use. The tuning knob has a nice smooth action.

Well made and a delight to use
I always thought this was over priced but I do not regret buying it. I now use it in preference to the vfo knob on the front of the radio. Very hand. Worth the price.
I love the weight of this. It doesn’t move around on its own. Two switches to move to left or right side of radio. Coupled with a computer monitor display, this is so handy.
