It's A Frame-Up For Murder But Who And Why???

This is a very good, film noir type movie. It's a tense, murder mystery with a Hitchockian twist, at the end. The main character gets framed for the murder of a glamorous dame and the chase is on for who done the framing. Seems the cop in charge wants vengeance on our hapless hero, but why?? I woke up happy

Great film with lots of twists and turns and even some humor. Victor Mature is in his prime, but the beautiful Betty Grable steals the film. In glorious black and white.

I found this film suspenseful and the surprise ending caught me off guard. I liked that. Betty Grable said afterward that her acting was awful and from then on she'd stick to musical comedies. Personally, I enjoyed her in this kind of film.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Betty doesn't shine.

I am a Betty Grable fan. She is billed as the star, but rarely gets to shine.I found it disappointing. Carol Landis is excellent in it.
