I Saw The Light - Williams, Hank (CD 2001)

I bought it for a friend who did not know that Hank Williams wrote this many Gospel Songs. It was a surprise to me as well, because I always thought of Hank as writing only one and that was "I Saw The Light". "House of Gold" and "How Can You Refuse Him Now?" were always one of my favorites and I never knew they were written by Hank Williams. He was a great singer and songwriter. Great CD...love it!!!

If you like old time country gospel and you are a fan of Hank Williams then even if you don't know the songs...they will grow on you. Just the same, the music and singing are very twangy. Most new music to me. awesome to find new things from Hank Sr. If you love Hank Sr. you will love this also. I swear the man knew he was only going to be here for a short time.
