HUSTLER SSM1 and Intallation
On other brands, the insulating disk have cracked, ...even with a backing plate behind them. Mine is on an old Ramcharger and has held up on my Ramcharger for several years with no evidence of degradation. I do reccomend going with stainless bolts, washers and nuts as well. On a further note, my installation included a Tarheel stubbing coil was installed to strip off the capacitance and to bring the feedpoint closer to 50 ohms, This gives you a bit more bandwidth with lower standing wave, it also lowers RX ignition noise somewhat.Vollständige Rezension lesen

102” whip CB antenna
It not only looks great but preforms awesome!! I wanted it for 2 reasons, looks and performance.
I attached a few pics. I run a Uniden President P300 with a D104 power mic and a palmar 350HD.

Heavy Duty Ball Mount & Spring
After mounting this hardware on the tool box of my truck and using a full sized antenna on it, I gave it a few months of wear and tear to see how it would hold up under constant flexing, rain and sun. Hustler SSM-1 Stainless Ball and Spring mount.
This is the one by which all others are Judged. Equal in quality to the Motorola mount, made in good ol USA. Best of the Best.

Pretty stout ball mount
Seems to be a pretty stout mount. Wish it was available with a PL 259 connector.
