Fridge thermostat.
The thermostat was identical to the one removed, but having watched how to replace this on you tube, it was not quite so simple. The type of fridge the end of the thermostat wire had to be attached to the plate in the back of the fridge. Once completed it works fine cheaper than purchasing a new fridge. Excellent price
Exactly the same model according to the number stamped on the side as the ones I have bought over the years at much higher price. Hotpoint Larder fridge is needed a new thermostat every 5-10 years. Unfortunately, on this occasion, it didn't solve the problem but as it is 30 years old guess I need to buy a complete new fridge. 'Fridge good as new again.
Good quality product at a very reasonable price, relatively easy to fit (after watching YouTube video) and avoided having to purchase new 'fridge.

DIY &save a fortune
Bit awkward finding the secret fixing for lamp housing which houses the 'stat....but a doddle to fit....new fridge for a tenner...can't be bad!!!
