Flexible Programming
This replaced an original Honeywell ST699, which offered limited programming timer options. The 9400C has 7 day programming options with up to 3 times per day. There is also a holiday mode, override & extra hour functions. The unit is fairly straightforward to wire in & programme. A large display adds functionality to the unit.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Quality bit of kit - good display.
Had to do a bit of re-wiring as this programmer replaced a much older Horstmann which had a different wiring configuration and the backplate was on the opposite side to most modern programmers. Once I'd sorted that out the Honeywell ST9400C was easy to fit and easy to programme due to the easy-to-read display. The pre-set time was a few minutes adrift and the unit is a bit deeper than I'd expected but other than that it seems a good quality bit of kit. Does what it says on the 'can'!
This was a replacement unit for our previous model (which was the model stated on the blurb). We fitted it in literally less than 5 minutes - it is designed to exactly replace the older model and no changes had to be made to the electricity supply or situation for the box. The new model is better as the standard 'default' settings include a backlight, which is especially useful if your programmer is in a cupboard like ours! All the default settings almost identically matched those on our previous model for heating times etc so it was literally a case of taking one programmer out and replacing it with this one. Replacement Programmer
I was replacing an old ST6400 unit of which the back up battery was no longer working. As both fit universal backplate it was a simple: switch off power; loosen mounting screws and pull off old unit; clip in new unit and tighten fixing screws; switch on power.
Improvements over old unit:
-backlit display making adjusting settings a lot easier
-new holiday function
- 3 (was 1) pre/loaded ‘standard’ programs. Simply pick one nearest to what you want and adjust.

Really great heating controller
Very easy to fit. Goes over standard backbox. Looks smart and is easy to program and use. And can be programmed for 7 days with 3 on/off periods if required. Hot water and heating can be programmed independently of each other too. Excellent product.Vollständige Rezension lesen

ST9400C
Honeywell ST9400C was a direct replacement for my Honeywell ST6400C. Leave the old back plate in place and slot in the new one, simple. Takes minutes. Just as easy to programme as the old one.

Great item great price
I was wondering weather to go for a cheaper alternative but glad I went for the Honeywell I had an old Honeywell timer but just 1 day off and on twice no good for me.
