Studio Versions.

I wanted to hear a studio version of "Brainstorm", "Time We Left This World Today" and "The Watcher". Overall, the tracks on the album are good tracks.

You cannot beat Vinyl for sound, but this is a close second.

Who's feelin' mellow?

Firstly, before I begin my review I must point out the last review on this item should be ignored. The poor guy obviously thought this was a review of the seller. Its a easy mistake to make... I'm sure?

Anyway, the album.
An absolute classic space rock album from early Hawkwind. Full of long trippy songs with a fantastic psychedelic feel, it really does have very 60's/70's feel to it.
Apart from the longer trippy tracks, there are a couple of short 'intermission' tracks and a couple of rockier numbers.

This was my first Hawkwind records, and for me, its the essential album. Not as commercially rocky as the later stuff, which is why I prefer it. It has charm.

And the remastered version has some great extra tracks too!

another world!!!!!!!

hawkwind are a bunch of blokes that seem to come from another world.when you listen to this you tend to drift off and before you know it your five tracks in and wondering how did i get here.this music transports you to another place. just buy it, slam it in, put headphones on and be taken on a cosmic journey to hawkwinds universe.never fails to amaze me.i`m just rediscovering this stuff all over again.next purchase is definately goin to be quark strangeness and charm followed by astounding sounds followed by captain lockheed and the last starfighter.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
