A fun memory for now my Grandchildren to enjoy.
Once my Grandson, Ayden who's 6 asked me for the game with the gingerbread men he played @ school. I knew the exact game he wanted for Christmas. I enjoyed playing this same game when I was his age, along with my very own children when they were young. I wasn't the happiest when I saw the board I remembered so well had changed. Why did they have to mess with a good thing?!? What was so wrong that it couldn't stay the way it was?!?? I was truly elated when I found for sale on eBay this exact game I was looking for @ a reasonable price. Love this game
We played this game when we were children, and have now purchased it to play with our great-grandson, who lives with us. It is the same game as we remembered, and brings hours of fun to us as it did years ago. Great fun and wonderful quality at an excellent price.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Best Candyland Board
I was so happy to find this original board. I had bought the latest version of Candyland for my classroom and threw it away as the graphics were so hideous and overly distracting.
I will buy more of this version for future grandbabies as even my daughters (in their 20's ) agree it is far superior.
No wonder kids today are so hyper and distractable. they are surrounded by garish, visually upsetting items. Look back at the items designed for kids in the 50s and 60s. Gentle, soft colors, simple, appealing graphics. Today's items ( including the new Candyland) look like a psychedelic nightmare.

Candyland - like the original edition
I am very pleased with this 65th anniversary edition of Candyland. I did not want to purchase the new style, which has a spinner instead of the traditional stack of cards. Original Candy Land - AWESOME!!!!
Because it is the original Candy Land game. Why do people feel the need to change things. I bought my granddaughter a Candy Land game for Christmas and was very disappointed in the quality. It was made cheaply and completely different than the original candy land. The pieces weren't even gingerbread men.. Always my favorite in 60's
When I was a kid, I loved playing w this game often in 60's. When I had my own daughter, she wanted Candyland so I went to buy one. I was disappointed in this present game. Fun, fun
So pleased with the reproduction, exactly like the original except the blue gingerbread man is a light blue and not the dark blue but otherwise this is great fun for me and my 8 yr old. Love the graphics. Recommend for fun or just nostalgia of childhood.Vollständige Rezension lesen

The Real Candy Land Game
My Granddaughter wanted the one like Mommy had. So that's what this game is. At 5 she knows what she wants. She is getting the 65th year celebration edition which is a copy of the original game.
