This movie was one of the first sequels that is actually is as good as the first. Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis both were perfect for their respective roles. This movie picks up right where the first one ends (you can't any better then that). This one offers yet another eerie soundtrack. I hate sequels, but there are exceptions

In general, sequels are terrible hastily made tripe produced solely to take advantage of the success of the first film. This film is no exception.

But the participation of original cast members Jamie Lee Curtis, Donald Pleasance, and John Carpenter favorite, Charles Cyphers, makes this film definitely watchable.

OK, it is mainly Michael Myers chasing Jamie Lee around, but it seems to preserve something of the soul of the original which the later sequels lost.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Halloween II evaluation

Really good second part to the Original Movie, tying into the Original well. Watch both and You'll see what I mean!!

Have thought this was the best Halloween out of all of them

Halloween 2 takes place in Haddonfield, Illinois on the same night that Jamie Lee Curtis' character is hunted by psychopathic killer Michael Myers. She is taken to the hospital and he follows her there. What happens next is a night of blood and carnage. This is my favorite movie of all the Halloweens. A Little faster paced than the original. This time directed by Rick Rosenthal and not John Carpenter. He is still around though. He helped with the script. Pick up this movie and prepare to be on edge. Sucker for a Michael Myers movie

Still one of my favorite movie series. As you probably heard many times. Not as good as the first, but most sequels are not as good as the first. Halloween was scary, but this one added a little more gore. Which in my opinion was good. I always liked the different ways the writers came up with a new way to kill a victim.
