HTC 7 Mozart review by an ordinary user

HTC 7 Mozart is a newcommer from Taiwan. It's realy nice with Windows mobile 7 with nice explorer. The display is fantastic and sharp enough for normal 800x600 html page. Wi-fi is as fast as notebook wi-fi. Actually this mobile phone substitudes normal laptop.
The cons. are about the size- if you search for a mobile phoe with mobile size - this Mozart is little bit bigger than expected, especially if you use a leather case. Also - the touchscreen is good enough, but if your fingers are big (like mine) you will face a mistyping the neigbour letters. Also it is great idea to use a stylus, so think for buying one. Transferring files to and from a PC needs a synchronisation program. If you intend to download some pictures to your friend's PC - you will need that program installed - great inconvenience by me.
But generally speaking this phone (PC) comes as a first spring bird and it needs time to improve all this things. But I'm sure it will come soon.

Great Phone, Best Touch Screen I Have Ever Experienced

Other than iPhone, this phone has the best touch screen I have ever seen. I have even tried Samsung Galaxy SII but I am not impressed with its touch.

This phone is very easy to use, great value for money, decent battery life and offers you all features which iPhone does.

HTC mozart phone

Not a bad smartphone but some features are lacking, this include :-Auto-redial, number editing from call history section, the process of transferring contacts is too cumbersome, you can't enjoy the phone functionalities if you are outside a good mobile service area. I don't like the concept of my contacts being automatically upload to Window live without my authorization, lacks ability to select contact number from call history when trying to send sms to people who are not on your contact. when replying a message it is impossible to add more contacts unless it forwarded. The call history lacks sorting capabilities for missed, incoming and outgoing calls, all are in one spot!!!
The Bluetooth is not functioning or rather not compatible with other mobile phones I tried it with and even laptops, I found that disappointing.
The Adobe reader is cool but it not fluid when scrolling.

I bought the phone because I just wanted to try something new and trying Windows mobile OS. I enjoy it web experience. The design is good and am still exploring it capabilities. If you like experimenting with mobiles to their elastic limit. You can give it a try.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Phone for light use

If you're looking for a modern smartphone don't get this device, the Windows Phone marketplace is no longer supported therefore you won't be able to get any apps, that's not too say this is a bad phone

The Mozart makes a great basic smartphone for light internet browsing, listening to music, checking e-mails, taking photos and videos and texts and calls. It's incredibly responsive and has sturdy build quality making it better than buying one of the many "dumb-phone offerings" available

These can be found incredibly cheap, usually unlocked; and in decent condition and can also be used as a simple media player (files can be imported using Zune Desktop) or a portable camera of sorts

Despite being advertised as not having an SD card slot, there's an internal SD card slot you can access if you're that way inclined. Mozart SUPERB!!

I also have an iPOD Touch and so naturally compare my Mozart to my iPOD.

I find that the Mozart has overall superior picture quality. My iPOD Touch is 2 years old and the battery life has reduced. The battery life on both devices is similar. I use WIFI on both devices and it uses a lot of battery power and reduces the life. I would like to see longer battery life from my Mozart phone and my iPOD Touch. I find the WIFI coverage better on my Mozart.

Mozart has an excellent processor and the response times seem superior to my iPOD Touch.

Applications-wise - The Apple device has been around a lot longer and there are more applications for it but I am pleasantly surprised at the rate new applications are appearing for my Windows 7 Phone. The combination of the 2 devices provides everything you could ever want!!

I have not found any glitches in the Operating system on the Windows 7 phone. The user inerface is excellent on the Mozart and I find the People button and associated menus intuitive.

In conclusion I have found no problems or difficulties with my Mozart Phone. "Phone" is not an adequate description for a device that will do everything I require as more new Windows 7 Phone applications become available.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

no Russian language interface!

Normal phone for its value. Excellent bright, high-quality screen. A simple menu interface. The only downside for me - there is no Russian language interface!

Perfect choise for youths

Only problem Slovenia is not supported by microsoft shop
Windows 7 is easy to use for new user in period of smart phones

awesome phone :)

needed another HTC as i love the phones, after my old HD mini got smashed to bits was gutted but this one is better, is easier to work and am glad i impulse bought it. happy days :)
