Great little machine
The GX is the top of the HP48 line - fast, and comes with 128K memory. It's a great tool whether just for day-to-day calculation use, whether you want to program repetivie tasks, or do a little bit of function graphing. The keys still have the classic feel of the HP line which is terrific when added to the greatly improved under-the-hood CPU. Great little machine.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Best RPN graphing calculator for Math & Engineering
This is my 3rd HP 48G series calculator since 1993 and one of 14 HPs in my calculator collection. I think it's one of the best scientific, graphing, RPN calculators. The newer calculators might be fast and come with more memory but the HP GX is probably more than enough for any math student, engineer or scientist and it will last longer.
Replacement of the CR2016 Lithium Coin Cell Battery from the Ram card might be little tricky.

A fantastic machine,. If it worked
No handheld calculator on the face of the Earth is as good as the HP48gx. But the 48gx I got worked for a whole two weeks before it died and after a month of trying to coax back it to life, at best it is now a paper weight.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good, but...
This product fits the calculator nicely, but is not as nice as the original padded cases of the hp 48g series.

HP48GX Review

512 Mem. Card (TDS)
Works good with my TDS program. Is the card really a 512 ? It only holds a little over 5000 points. That is okay with the small surveying jobs I am performing.
Also is the battery in the card new ?

Received and looking Good
The card was very well packaged up, two sets of bubble wrap, one forming a pocket and another as a buffer within the box to stop rattling around.
Had to come home to read the manual to install correctly. The calculator can now see the extra memory and no errors flagged up.
So very pleased with the card and how it was packaged up.
Pity about the customs charging but hey :).

Not to happy
There are several important features that do not work. We would not have bought this if we had know it wasn't working properly
