If you are not familiar with the work of Mr. Williams this is the place to start! You will be treated to the the smooth, husky and oh so romantic sound of his lower, more baritone range. First try the playful side of Mr. Williams with songs like; "Butterfly, In the Summertime, House of Bamboo, Wake Me When it's Over or I Like Your Kind of Love." Then be inspired by; "Suddenly There's a Valley, Walk Hand in Hand, Sweet Morning, You'll Never Walk Alone or The Village of ST. Bernadette." When it comes to romantic ballads, Andy Williams IS the Voice of Romance. Get ready for a "croon and swoon" ladies, with such songs as "Say It Isn't So, In the Wee Small Hours, Love Letters in the Sand, Dreamsville and my personal favorite...Are You Sincere." It hurts so good! The sound quality is SUPERB! I listen with headphones and I have actually jumped a few times because it felt as though he was right next to me! I have kept this CD next to my player, alternating between the 2 discs, since it arrived on my doorstep. I love all my Andy Williams records, CD's and tapes but this particular Jasmine CD stands way up high among them. The two discs are fully screen printed with the two head shots of Mr. Williams from the front and back covers of this CD. There is a lovely tri-fold insert listing the 57 songs ( YES, 57 !!) contained on the 2 discs, along with a brief biography of Mr. Williams and his early career. The good people at JASMINE, in the UK, put a lot of effort, care and love into the creation of "I Like Your Kind of Love." Just an observation, but I think the fans in the UK really enjoyed, respected and showed their love for Mr. Williams and it is evident in the quality of this CD. It is a honor and pleasure to me personally to own and listen to this exceptional creation. Thank you JASMINE for this TERRIFIC 2 CD set.
