A true classic.

I have loved this book since I was a freshman in high school in 1967 and did a book report for my English class on it I still have the paperback copy in storage somewhere but I wanted to read it again so I bought another copy which by the way came in in excellent condition. don't listen to the protesters that say that this is a racial fueled book that should be banned. It should be required reading for everyone, especially high school & college level education. It shows & tells you the unfettered uncensored truth of the evil perpetrated by the North on the South Pre & post attack on the Succeeded south. History & Romance - Book Has It All

Like new & sent promptly. An old classic that I've found tough to find in bookstores. Only minor negative is that print is very small but readers (glasses) can take care of that.

Timeless Classic Revisited

Book was purchased as a gift for my 83 years young mother-in-law, who read it for the first time as a student working in a local library. The head librarian let her take it home the day it arrived, before being put on the shelves for circulation. She read it in two days.
