Life lessons with great music

Thoroughly enjoy watching "good" quality series where the life lessons are real and do mirror a lot of the real world. Of course not the breaking out into song but the stereo types and "labeling" of young people that we have all experienced. Glee (tv series)

If you like irreverent comedy (albeit nearly trashy by strict morality standards) and if you like inspirational anthems, whether from Broadway, movies, or pop culture, then you will like this series (and you need to see season 1 also). Freddie Mercury has been dead for 19+ years now, but the Glee group has already covered several Queen classics, creditably. I hope they do more! Great guest singing too, from Kristen Chenowith and John Stamos in season 1 to Gwinneth Paltrow (singing F-you!) in season 2. I highly recommend this. The last five episodes have been on Fancast, with each Tuesday's new episode kicking out the show that is six weeks old. (perhaps with 24 hour delay). Go sample some!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Great for fans of th program

I bought this as a gift for a big fan of the program. I wish I'd paid more attention when buying the product and realized it wasn't the complete season, but only Volume 1 of the season. It was inexpensive so I can afford to buy volume 2 of the season so my son has the complete set. Glee: season 2 vol. 1

If you liked the first season.....please get this video. The songs are more intense the interaction between the characters more colorful....I honestly thought that this television show was not going to be any good. I think I watched one episode. I have since changed my mind and found that I was rooting for the underdog. I wanted to see more and more. The episode about Britiney and Santa Clause is a real must see..I for no other reason get this for that

Glee has to be one of the best T.V. series out right now. If you enjoy music and dancing then you most definitely will love Glee. It's a bit motivating because when you see how dedicated they are in performing with their singing and dancing it makes you appreciate the art of dancing and music itself; especially the old school songs they perform. Great DVD, perfect for a night of laughs and great music.

Very funny series. If you like parodies of high school, and all the stupid stuff that happens in high school, along with music. You will love Glee. Perfect for anyone that loves Glee! It has the first half of the season and will tie me over until the full season is available! You can't beat it at any price really! Give Glee a chance

First of all I am definitely a Gleek. I love that this series tells all of us it is ok to be different and there is absolutely nothing wrong with being the proverbial square peg. The Christmas episode is particularly moving. Without giving it away if I could do what they did in that episode the feeling I would get from that act of kindness would be the best gift possible. If you're not a Gleek give it a chance, watch it with an open mind and you won't be disappointed.
