Item works but I do not trust the Honeywell brand and I am now worried it will not work when needed.
It appears the part works but I am actually PISSED with Generac and the Honeywell. The replacement part is good and it is working but if Generac built a decent generator I should not ever have to replace this expensive part PERIOD.
The FACT that this expensive part broke has made me lose confidence in my Generac generator working in an emergency when I need it the most.
I would NOT buy this product without buying a warranty with it. I do not trust the BS Honeywell CRAP!
I am not happy with the actual design of the Generac Generator either so much STUPID design BS. You cannot access the back side of the generator unless you disconnect the gas line and the wiring. That is a total design F-up. The unit is mounted outside of a house or building there is no real advantage in trying to cram everything into a small housing. I should be able to put a regular car battery in the housing if I want to instead the IDIOT Generac designer only allowed enough space in the housing for a small size car battery.
A Engineering MORON designed the unit it is supposed to be for emergency use and it should start when need no matter what and it should be easy to access and fix in an emergency..

Any attack
After a horde of ants moved into my generator’s control assembly module (for the second time in as many weeks) and laid half a million eggs the circuit board couldn’t take the load. Checked to make certain everything else was good on the 6 year old 17kw and ordered a new one. Got it via UPS in two days. Pulled the old one, plugged in the new. Three bolts secure it well. Reset the time, date, etc and fired her up. Put in a new battery for good measure. Success! Took 45 minutes. And we’re back online for the next power outage. Great Product Reasonably Priced

The product was first quality, plug and play and works perfectly. The price was the best around and $300 less expensive than from Generac. And 2nd day shipping was thrown in. Totally satisfied.

Best cost and value
An over zealous man with a pressure washer thought that he was being helpful and inadvertently fried the generator controller. This product was a perfect match and fit and I was able to install it in about 30 minutes. Best value and cost on the internet.
