An ok attempt at Thai monster movie...
Monster movies is propably nothing new to anyone from the US or Europe, Asian monster movies is nothing new at all, but a Thai monster movie? Now that is something completely new to me!
The movie bases around an old myth surrounding the creature know as "Garuda".
For some strange reason one of these creatures emerges after being "accidentally" electrecuted and starts its terror of Bangkok.
The movie has a decent plot, ok background story and it does base around something that might be the question of many peoples study these days.
The acting can at times be very much like "acting" or overacting, luckily these scenes are rather short and are balanced out by some rather hard core bad*ss Thai military characters.
But I want to applaude the use of special effect in this movie. Although one might expect extreme use of explosives and wire technics from a movie set in south-east Asia, I personally feel the use has been limited and thus they achieve a rather realistic depiction of effects one might expect.
So overall I think this is an average, maybe a little over average movie. But don't be scared by my opinion. Although I thought it was good, I don't feel it was the best.

this movie is really good, its similar to a movie from 1957 called the giant claw. they finally put it out in english dubbed. i bought it because its a sci-fi movie.
