Great things in small packages

Lots of features in this little box. Not the newest, but still very capable. Easy to use, easy to see, and did I mention it is small? Doesn't use very much stack space.

Please leave a pigtail

Great addition to an RV-8 avionics package, highly recommended by friends who fly. Haven’t powered up the SL-30 yet but still in the build. It would have been nice if the VOR/GS input cables would have been cut off with six inch pigtails. The connectors where destroyed by clipping the cables right at the connectors? Still a good NAVCOMM

The SL30 is still a great NAVCOMM and it's serial interface allows RS232 data to be shared with other digital avionics and flight control systems
