Solid performer
Had the Instinct Solar for a month, really happy with the feature set, look and build. The interface isn't for everyone (possibly why so many turn up on here?) but I'm a fan. Enough user options/customisation to make it work how you want, and light on your wrist. Heart rate readings seem accurate, at rest and during exercise, though the step counter seems a bit generous. GPS is lightening fast to get signal (as hoped with Garmin's expertise) and very accurate tracking activity.
The app is expansive and covers plenty of metrics in depth.
The vibration alarm is a bonus and I would definitely recommend this

Best smart watch I've had. Battery life is amazing. Huge amount of sensors and features, more than enough for most people needs. Very comfortable to wear daily. Massive battery life
I've used this to track three six hour rides with GPS and a full week of background day to day use. My old Vivo active would need charging after the first ride. Love it.

Better batter, more settings
Basically an Instinct 2, the battery life is far superior, and there are plenty of extra settings to help improve it as well.
