Great buy for the money.

This is a surprisingly well made item. I actually bought it to find a lost survey marker in the corner of my lawn. It actually alerted to two small wires an inch below ground. It also shakes harder if the item is larger. I wouldn't want to use this as a mine detector, but for finding nails in walls or other uses, it's an exceptional value.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Damn Good Detector PinPointer

This pin pointer blew me away the first time I used it. It detects at a distance better or as good as any other that cost's in the hundreds of dollars. Highly recommend this product at twenty bucks I thought what do have I have to lose and it was a great buy. This pin pointer works so far past my expectations it ain't funny. Seriously! Get one. Great as an aid to metal detecting

If you are looking for an affordable pin pointer to aid alongside your metal detecting adventures, I'd highly recommend this product. It does what it's supposed to, finds metal inside a dug hole or clump of dirt, or sand. It has a max range of about an inch with a coin sized object. Use of Pinpointer with Rocks

Came early. Was as advertised. Tried it on rocks that my treasure finder listed as silver which only contained small amounts of the substance. In the future, I will only select rocks that ring hot, and if the pinpointer, also rings. This would mean that there is a significant amount of silver in the rock.Vollständige Rezension lesen

pin point metal detector, looks just like the real thing.

Used first day it arrived and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked.

One works, 2nd one doesn't

I ordered 2 of these. One works fine and the 2nd one turns on but does not detect any metal. I tried numerous times to get this 2nd unit to work but will not detect any metal.

Regular metal detectors on a pole with handle are much better.

Can't tell when it is on or off very well...
Beep is not loud enough
Doesn't cover a large enough area when searching for metal, easily misses metal if not right on top of it
