Works just like the original inverter and easy to replace

This inverter is not exactly like the original. The case is a new design but mounts and wires about the same. It came with adapter cables and I did use one for the VDC control cable adapters.
It is easily replaced and mounts on the side of the compressor like the original.
The original failed due to heat damage. Heat from the compressor can cause premature failure if you don't regularly clean the condenser coil. Refrigerator compressors will operate cooler when the condenser can properly reject the heat. This inverter works properly on my GE Cafe refrigerator.
I only rate it 4 stars because it should not be mounted on the side of the compressor.Vollständige Rezension lesen

GE PROFILE DOUBLE DOOR FRIDGE WITH TWO DRAWER BOTTOM FREEZER.

If your refrigerator and freezer stop working it’s most likely this part. It’s a simple replacement. Plug and play. The refrigerator compressor won’t work without it. Apparently this unit overheats and the capacitors fail. This is my second time replacing this in five years. This appears to be their life expectancy but it does beat spending three grand on a similar/new fridge. Hopefully this updated part will last longer and perhaps forever. Only time will tell. So the temperature was warmer than ideal. I first thought that I needed to add freon until I searched on YouTube. So this part was the one that most people said was the cause of it not cooling. Did the job

Perfect, fixed my refrigerator straight away. Needed a few custom mods to the shell given I only spotted that the broken inverter was a replacement (must gone out before) but as I wrote it worked right away. Easy to connect up. Saved $2000+!
