Good, but run too rich for stock

Bought these because of a misfire I had on a 94 XJ 4.0

Did not realize that stock injectors are 19lbs and these are 30lbs and require supporting modifications. I installed them not knowing this and the jeep barely ran unless I kept my foot on it and released lots of unburnt fuel fumes from the exhaust.

If you need to replace your stock injectors and don't want to get a tune, distributor, etc. and want to switch to the 4-hole design for better efficiency, get the 19lb 4-port injectors, not these.

Otherwise besides flowing too much fuel for my engine, they are good quality and I'm sure they'd work great for a stroker or turbo build on one of these motors.Vollständige Rezension lesen

TOO much fuel!

I purchased these for my 1989 jeep 4.0 and it turns out they deliver way too much fuel! They were installed along with a rebuild/swap, so when I got the engine running again and it was running extremely rich, it took me a while to diagnose the problem. After several weekends testing, adjusting and replacing some sensors, I finally did some research on the injectors and found that they are for a volvo turbo and deliver almost double the amount of fuel as the stock injectors. I ordered stock volvo equivalent injectors and installed them last weekend and the jeep is running great.

Just what I needed

Ordered these injectors to replace the old original single hole injectors on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 liter engine. Followed the guides found on the jeep forums to do the injector swap. Only hiccup was that the new injectors don't have a slot for the clips that hold them to the injector rail. However this is not a problem, as they are held securely between the head and the rail. Best xj mod

These are great replacement fuel injectors, they fit perfect & wasn't too difficult to install. Great deal for these high end injectors.

Fuel injector

I feel like these were good while I had them, good price and not too hard to install as long as you know how to tear your volvo down to the fuel rail.
Can't say how well they did in the long run because my ex tore my car apart not long after I installed them.

best bang for the buck for a cherokee

I've run about 8 tanks of gas through my 4.0 cherokee and avg 14mpg now, up from 13~13ish mpg. My cherokee has had the most mpg gains from this small change versus all the other changes I tried including intake,exhaust, and motor internals. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great product at a great price! You get five for less than the price of one new injector! I gained 3 mpg with just these.
