I'm glad I bought another Focusrite!!

I have been using a Focusrite 2i4 for several years and really like it. Upgrading to this 3rd generation model is just as reliable and easy to use. I like the much smaller form factor of the 3rd generation model 2i2 and am glad I made the purchase. FYI, for anyone who buys a Focusrite and experiences any crackling sounds while using it...just be sure to set the GHZ level to be the same if you record music using a DAW. I made sure my level was at 48,000 inside the audio settings in the DAW as well as in the control panel software that comes with the Focusrite software. It works like a dream and I'd recommend it to others who are looking for a decent I/O device!! Great little unit from Focusrite gets the job done with no hassle.

I'm a public school music teacher and with my newer Macbook Pro, I was no longer able to record into Garage Band (or any other recording software, as there is no longer a dedicated "line-in" jack on the computer. In order to record my students in school, I needed a digital audio interface. I read reviews on several different brands and features. This unit from Focusrite has all that I needed. Now that the new 3rd generation is available, the prices on this 2nd generation unit have come down a bit. For the money, it is AWESOME! I can't hear ANY noise from the preamp in the recordings. It is completely "plug and play" on my Macbook Pro. Picking this up for a great price in the "like new" condition that it's in was a bonus. Yes, can record in stereo when channels 1 and 2 are connected to an audio source using a 1/8 Inch TRS Stereo to Dual 1/4 inch TS Mono Y-Splitter Cable

Stereo recordings work great! After installing the updated drivers and a reboot. I tested it with the NCH WavePad Sound Editor app to verify that it could actually record in stereo and it passed with flying colors. I could see that the right and left sound recording level bars work independently from each other. The 2i2 was connected to a headphone jack by using a 1/8 inch TRS Stereo to Dual 1/4 inch TS Mono Y-Splitter Cable. Found the stereo setting in Windows 10 under the "device properties / additional device settings / advanced tab. Changed the sample rate drop down menu to "2 channel, 16 bit, 48000 Hz (DVD quality)" So cool!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great Interface.

I have only used it for Revalvor and Bias FX.

I have to learn how to use recording software

I know it was easy to hook up and works great.

Works great with LSR305

Bought this to use with a pair of Jbl Lsr305 speakers. Since it has balanced outputs and a easy to connect USB with the computer, it was easy to set up and the speakers sound amazing. Highly recommend for a pair of monitor speakers like the Lsr305.Vollständige Rezension lesen
