Fluval Ultra Violet Clarifier

This purchase for my 1st UVC unit from Fluval, was a game changer.
I have a 60G freshwater Amazon planted tank with 5 Discus. I run a pair of Fluval 306 filter pumps and was just having a difficult time of getting the water to clear. I use a spray bar on each output, and the amount of particulates this would stir up was just not acceptable.

I ordered 1 unit to see if it was going to make a noticeable difference. Well, it did, but now I needed another because I have two filters pumping on this tank. I have both set up, after about an hour the tank was clear, without the nasty bacteria floating about.

For about half the price they wanted at PetSmart, I got mine on eBay and it was worth the effort.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Fluval UVC in line clarifier is working great. Aquarium is crystal clear. Was easy to hook to my Fluval fx4 canister filter.

Works well

Had green water that just wouldn't go away. Bought this, hooked it up to a Fluval 307 canister filter, plugged it in, and let it run 24 hours a day. Every day there was a noticeable difference and the water slowly started to clear. Within a week the water was crystal clear. Awesome product if you have algae

I've been battling algea since i set up my aquaium. I could do complete water change and 2 days later water would cloud up and start truning green. This thing cleared my tank up in about a week. Worth every penny if you have algae problems.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Cannot wait to get this set up.

I submitted my review based on the recommendation of others and hopefully will be able to set it up soon. Had my cycle crash and am waiting for the tank to get cycled again before setting it up.

Works like a champ

Should have purchased this years ago! I have been fighting green water problems at times for a long time. This addition of the UVC clarifier has made my tank water crystal clear in 5 days.
