Fluke 8842A Digital Bench Multimeter

Best old digital voltmeter

I have been using this type meter for 30 years, and they are extremely stable and accurate. Just do not damage them, and they will make accurate measurements for years. I check calibration yearly, and they just hold cal.. Wish they were still in production, the the 8845A is close, but not exact replacement.Vollständige Rezension lesen

very dim display

The instrument is a Fluke 8842A and is super accurate; however, the Vacuum Florescent Display is very dim contrary to what is shown in the photos. The digital camera enhanced the color of the display and it was claimed it was "bright". I would recommend the 8842A for measurements but be cautious buying a used unit. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Haven't calibrated it but it's right on target compared to my 1-year old Rigol DM3058E

Only down side is the current range only has a 2A max, but otherwise this thing is fantastic.
