FLICKA - a good horse movie

I first got my hands on the soundtrack from this movie and loved all the songs, so I went
shopping online for the movie. I finally found a used version, but it had all sorts of
defects in the special features section. Tsk. Now I've gotten this movie again
I can only hope that it all plays OK. Haven't had time to watch it yet.

Originally I read the book " My Friend Flicka" which is the 1st book in a series of 3 by
Mary O'Hara. It had a boy as the star, so I wasn't sure this movie version would engage
me. The other two books are called THUNDERHEAD and Green Grass of Wyoming, and
they follow the original boy as he grows up. If you are a horse lover like me, you
will really enjoy all 3 books. And of course, this new movie version as well!! It has
stunning scenery and wild horse herds in it. After watching it once, I knew it was something
I wanted to own. I hope they will eventually make a sequel movie!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Loved this movie

A bit of a tear jerker. Characters were amazing. Very good movie. Great price and shipped fast too.
