Doesn't do the job
I have an electric sharpener for knives which is brilliant and bought this for scissors as am fed up with throwing them away and buying new when they go blunt. Unfortunately this Fiskars is not the answer. Its very lightweight so needs one hand to hold it in position and then you 'pass the blades through a few times' and however many times I 'pass the blades' they don't get any sharper. Maybe the kitchen scissors I buy are too cheap. This wasn't expensive - £11 or £12 - but if it doesn't do the job it's not good value and I wouldn't recommend it.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

My wife now sharpens her own scissors and a good purchase!
I bought this for my wife who does lots of cutting and sewing and is always asking me to sharpen her scissors, after using this simple device she is very happy and can now sharpen her scissors when she needs to.

Don't bother
My expensive Fiskars dressmaking shears were not cutting as well, so I bought this. They have ruined the blades on my shears and have damaged my thread snips. Considering it is made by Fiskars, it should at the very least not damage other Fiskars products. They were a waste of money. Fiskars should be ashamed of themselves.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
