It's a fireplace on your t.v. Just pop in the DVD and choose one of four scenes. It would be a great way to cozy up without the messy ash. HOWEVER, only one of these scenes actually sound like a crackling fire. The other three are set to music..which spoiled the effect for me. The quality of the imagery is satisfactory, but only just.
