Finians Rainbow (DVD, 2005)

Fun nostalgic family-friendly movie

I loved this movie as a kid, and I am so pleased to now own this film on DVD. The colors and music are wonderfully enhanced, and watching the movie brought back so many fond memories. Although this is an older movie, I believe that it can still be a wonderfully entertaining experience for the right audience. I am not a fan of all musicals, but this one has always held a special spot in my heart (likely due to my love of Irish lore, and the hilarious Tommy Steele playing the adorable leprechaun, "Og"). In my opinion, this is one of the best renditions of "Finian's Rainbow", and I highly recommend this to anyone seeking a very funny and heartwarming film with an interesting storyline and some great music.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Fun movie with a great storyline

Bought this DVD for my mom who has been looking for the movie. The characters are funny, cute, and relatable. The actors did a wonderful job, especially the actor playing the leprechaun. There are some moments in the film where a racial issue will come about, so be forewarned that this old movie may be found to be offensive to some.
