Timeless classic

This is one of my favourite ever games. I have spent so many hours playing this multiple times. The story and sound track are brilliant. There is no denying that the graphics are now dated but you soon get used to it and the cut scenes still look good. There are multiple side missions that run along side the main story and an extremely addictive card game. If you like RPGs this is not to be missed.

Great retro game play

Was never into any of the Final Fantasy series when younger - but enjoy the story driven gameplay now I am older and appreciate more than smooth graphics and action.

Considering the age of the game, I feel that the graphics - especially form the cut scenes - hold up all things considered.

Bought this game for my son and he is very happy with it. The quality is very good and the graphics are as you would expect. It was complete and exactly as it was described. Thank you.

Final Fantasy VIII The Best FF Game Ever Made

Origionally had the game when It first came out. Countless hours of playing, I found it so enjoyable to play, so much to do; a massive world that you lose yourself in. No other game like it, Amazing characters and the story is just beautiful.

After completing the game, I traded it in many years ago. Big Mistake. Its a game everyone should keep forever. So I have purchased it once again all these years later, it brings back memories and its just a game thats close to me. I will treasure it forever.

10/10 I Would recommend this game to anyone thats into adventure games.

I can only pray for a remake for PS3.

Final Fantasy 8, a good solid title and worth the playthrough

Final Fantasy 8 is one of the best underrated games of the genre, the story is well written and the gameplay isn't as clunky as the previous titles.

the game suffered from the Final Fantasy 7 rose tinted goggles of the fan base and as such didn't receive as well a reception as it deserved despite being overall a better game to play.

this being said on a go-back to experience it still stands the test of time, as do the other titles.

Amazing.

I bought this product because I used to own a copy of this when I was a child, and I really felt the need to play it again.
I love this product due to the fact, in my opinion, it's one of the best RPG games ever. I dislike nothing about this product except maybe the fact that enemies level up with you.
This product is number 3 in my list of 3 best products, Number 1 and 2 being Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy IX respectively.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Brilliant chapter in the final fantasy series.

An amazing part of the final fantasy series.
FF8 has a very different system of character improvement compared with the other parts of the system, as it has the junction system.
Although I am not far enough through the game to comment on it's story line, I was instantly gripped.
The game carries all the charm and fun of the usual final fantasy games and I am assured it's a classic, and so far it has lived up to expectations!Vollständige Rezension lesen...
