A Great Introduction to Fasting

Fasting is a spiritual topic that many individuals don't readily grasp. On one level it is a simple action; refrain from eating or eat in a certain manner. But on another more profound level it is much more. This book lays out a scriptural foundation for fasting that is not based on any formula but focuses on our personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

It is an easy read that touches on most of the profound aspects of fasting. I write that it touches because it really introduces readers to these topics and encourages us to explore them further on our own.

Fasting with understanding !!!

This book help me understand fasting. So I purchased it for a friend. This friend read through book two times and is on her third time. The best part is that she went from I can't fast to I'm looking forward to my first 40-day fast.

Wonderful!

This book was just what I was looking for. I was able to find many books on fasting but what I was looking for was a book about spiritual fasting. Franklin gives many great examples from the Bible on the subject of fasting. He also goes into great detail on the importance of making fasting part of your lifestyle. Fasting

I have read a couple other Fasting books and find this head and shoulders above the ones I have seen before. This guy substantiates everything he says and makes you see the value in this practice by Biblically supporting it. I bought it because I was seeking information on Fasting; and the very night I wanted more guidance on fasting, Jentezen Franklin came on TV and the advertisement for his book came before me.
