FTX Kanyon
Bought this for my son. It’s great at climbing up rocky trails and banks. Standard battery lasts well and charges in 3.5hrs using the supplied charger. It’s a rock crawler (not a super fast jump truck or something) and has 2 settings on the esc, one with finer control for slow speed stuff. Lights work well and illuminate the trail ahead. rock crawler
this is a good all round starter crawler ? why starter because you can learn to rock crawl at a low price also if you break it the parts are ready available on eBay at the shop or on line ? and the other thing is may be you would like too up grade it with the metal parts that can also be purchased. This is where the learning part comes in so some what educational if you will. I my self have repainted the roof rack wheel arches and side steps plus making improvements as I go along.

Brilliant and upgraded

FTX Kanyon is great
This is a really nice budget rock crawler. I would class it as almost 1/8th scale as it is so big. It is very capable with a few weak points, but like most a little upgrade and a few tweaks will go a long way. I recommend this as a fun crawler, you won't be disappointed.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Rock crawler

Traxxas move over!
Not only is this rig sensibly priced, the upgrades are available to push the limits even further. While the Kanyon doesn't fit the competition criteria it is huge fun for all. It's a big crawler, with working lights, not something you get on crawlers, my son loves it, very practical and on par with the expensive ones for half the price.
