EZ-DUZ-IT equates to pre-China Swing-Away
Like many many other buyers, I find this EZ-DUZ-IT can opener to be the continuing equivalent, in quality and design, of the old Swing-Away opener, that was the gold standard from the 1950s onward until Swing-Away manufacturing was outsourced to China about ten or twenty years ago. About a year or two ago, I bought a Swing-Away again, expecting it to be the same quality product as it was over most of my life (60-odd years now). The [modern] Swing-Away was good for the first year or so, but then it wore out and became unable to fully open my tuna cans. I then found out through web research that yes, others also reported this problem, and that when the Swing-Away moved to China, an American company purchased the previous production line, machines, dies, etc., and that purchaser ("Steuby" company, in Missouri, I think) had resumed production of the classic Swing-Away opener under the EZ-DUZ-IT name. Good hand held can opener
Good hand held can opener. It is well made, easy to use with large turning handle to open cans.
I have arthritis in my hands and this opener makes opening cans easy for me.

Best for the money
The best manual can opener I have bought for the money, not to mention Made in the USA.
I open a lot of dog food cans and this one has held up better than others costing nearly 3 times a much.

Other cheap can openers, the gears slip or their made of slightly thinner material, so they don't perform as well, This operates as it should, High quality.

Heavy Duty Can Opener, Guranteed to Last
Bought this to replace an item, made by a competitor, that was manufactured in the USA about 40 years ago, that I bent by playing Hercules with a stubborn can. They now manufacture in China, so shouldn't encounter many people playing characters from Greek mythology.
This item, made in the USA, is heavy duty, cuts well, and is a credit to those who manufactured it. It may even hold up to me playing Hercules again, if I can still do so 40 years from now.
