One of Kubrick's finest. Totally engrossing and absorbing throughout. Lavish sets, even the modest settings are powerful statements. Great acting, dialogue is powerful, word for word, sentence by sentence. Underlying tones of unreality, often sinister, mysterious. From music to lighting, such a tightly knit fabric of a "special" society of secret, and not so secret, motivations and ceremony. So well done! Vollständige Rezension lesen

An okay drama

It's an okay drama. Suited for a mature audience. I could tolerate watching Eyes Wide Shut more then Barry Lyndon. Might be my favorite Stanley Kubrick film.

Night Owls Have More Fun

This final Stanley Kubrick's film just proves again that staying up late can be very entertaing, if you're careful.

And Nicole Kidman has never been more fetching...
