Evolution EVO42 Magnetic Drill 230v
I bought this magnetic base drill for a variety of jobs for fabrication and welding of different thicknesses of steel and other metal jobs. Comes with a solid case to hold the drill, attachments and fixtures.
The electromagnet does a solid job of holding it down or up onto whatever material you are cutting. Comes with a coolant tank for lubricating the cutters to maximise cutting life.
Also comes with a drill chuck for using regular sized drill bits.
Works well, not too heavy for what it does and looks like it will last a long while.
Only slight drawback is that this model is single speed only, but has plenty of torque for the toughest jobs.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Metal drilling made easy
Can't believe I did not buy one sooner cuts through metal like butter. The hole is clean and drilling large holes is simple. The magnet takes the struggle out of holding a drill and no pressure needed like when using a traditional drill. I gave 4stars instead of 5stars, and I gave good quality because there wasn’t a fair option. The reason being the thumb screw that is supposed to lock the height adjustment doesn’t hold very well under much pressure. Having said all of that, I am was quite pleased with the item over all. Excellent drill for the money.
Excellent drill and fantastic value for the money, We are using it to drill holes through thick steel structural beams, which it did effortlessly!. One small but significant fault however, when I was unpackaging the drill, I gashed my hand rather badly on the depth indicator!! why I bought this Mag-drill In the past - I had a trip to the local Hospital with a broken finger - c/o my 'ordinary drill' which spun round while I was drilling a hole in an H-iron - 5 weeks with my hand in plaster - not nice - I have only used this mag-drill for a short time - but - so far I think its magic - any size of a hole (up to 42mm) is a breeze - If you have never used one of these you're in for a v-pleasant suprise. Evolution Evo42 Mag drill
After killing two other standard drills, I have decided to buy a stronger massive one.
It is really work like charm with 14-16mm standard drill bits. Definetely better than any other wired drillls I have seen and used before.

Machine building essential tool
Build a machine which has a 2.5 x 1.5 metre flat plate needing some 150 different size holes. What a dream it has been with this drill. PAid for itself on this job alone.

Brilliant machine
Great machine, makes cutting holes a doddle, especially when used with annular cutting bits cuts like a knife through butter. Couldn't recomend it enough. Really good build quality 👌

mag drill
Bought this drill to drill into carbon steel and stainless (attached on magnetic steel). Impressed with the results so far.
