An iconic and epic game that started a genre

Everquest Online Adventures (EQOA) was my first and one of my most favorite MMORPG's of all time. It's THE online MMORPG that got me into the genre (it's also where I met the love of my life). Coming in at a time when MMORPG's (and decent graphics) were still in there infancy, EQOA defined a whole generation of multiplayer online role-playing games. Sure, the scenery, graphics, sounds, etc left a bit to be desired, but it was the story and the player-base that really sold the game. I could play this game for hours completely mesmorized. There was ALWAYS something to do and it was never boring. When I think back on it, everything seems iconic. From all the dings and clicks, to the spells and animations, to the musical scores, from the multitude of unique races, classes, and masteries, to the incredibly unique zones and cities, and to the truly epic continent of Norrath which I swear took a full 6 real-world hours to run from the top to the bottom of the map. There's really nothing quite like it in today's online games. Man, I would gladly donate $50,000 to help get this game back up in running. It's been shut down but this was THE BEST mmo ever! The only people who will argue that point are WoW fanboys and original EQ players that never tried the game! It lasted 9 years on a console and never got the praise it deserved! It is the second release in the EQ universe, the TRUE EQ2 and will go down in history as a gem of a game! This WILL be a major collectors item in the years to come, it was the first console MMORPG ever!People will also argue that Phantasy star online was, however PSO was more of a closed world with a lobby! EQOA had ZERO loading and the world was absolutely MASSIVE! It took 2-3 hours just to run from the frozen north to the swampy south! Good game, poor communication, and slow delivery.

We like the game and it plays well. but it took two weeks before she/he even mailed it out. We bought it so we could play two accounts at once.

EverQuest Online Adventures PS 2

This is what my husband wanted for Christmas. He loves his PS2. I haven't rceived it yet, but am sure it will arrvive as planned. Keep up the good work.
