There's something about her, something.....magic. She plays the role she has in this age old tale, in a very Drew Barrymore way. Not the archetypal Cinderella, this one is dangerous, quick witted, very much a hero type for today.

Best version on Cinderella!

I love this movie. I owned it on VHS years ago.I wanted to show it to my teenage daughter because I thought she would love it as well. So happy I found a new one here on eBay.

A great Family movie

I have seen this movie a good number of times and decided I needed to purchase it so I have, it is to this day one of my favorite movies and I love Drew Berrymore in it she dose a great job in most all her movies. the stoy they tell is known but not quite like this and thats where I really enjoy it because its more realistic almost like its the real version of the story. Check it out! Cinderella for Grownups

Story is the best retelling of the original for adults. Gutsy to take out the mice and FGM, but putting in real characters from history like Leonardo, really kick it up a notch. As Charming As It Gets

This movie for me, I can watch it right away after I just watched it. I realized that is probably the criteria for my favorite of all time movies. Drew Barrymore is so believable as the heroine story we share to our daughters to persevere and believe in ourselves that dreams do come true if we stay true to ourselves with integrity, trust, and honor along the way. Loved It

The DVD played wonderfully. No fuzz. No freezes. Plus, the story is top-notch. Does away with the magic and replaces it with realism and the traditional passed-this-down-from-relative-to-relative belief. (which will be needed to make noticing the artistic licenses not drive one into a mad frenzy) Character development is utilized especially Prince Henry, who learns to think of others and not see things in a black-and-white way. One of the best!!

This is one of the very best movies that my husband and I have ever seen. All of the characters were perfectly cast, and the acting is superb. Even though we've seen it several times, we still don't know what scene is coming next, so we never get tired of watching it. It's such a lovely story with some moments that are so funny and unexpected. LOVE THIS MOVIE

I am not the romantic type at all, but i did fall in love with this movie. It's a retelling of the the Cinderella story.
The characters are great. Angelica Houston as the stepmother is great. Drew Barrymore is plays the cinder girl well.
