great drum skin
I really like this skin, great sound. I haven't played in years, I used to buy shark skin heads, for their durability, this head has that same texture, and appears to be as durable, but only time will tell....I feel Iike got a great deal....Vollständige Rezension lesen

Great drum heads on a budget
My wife plays snare in a parade drum style. First of all these are hard to find at this price point being that it BLACK !! This head has all the great tone, fit, and most of all endurance of the higher price snare drum heads. These drum heads are definitely sleeper. Great Sound, but....
I bought this to deaden my snare for recording.
Needed to be toned down.
Sounds great, however, after playing it a couple of weeks, it developed that dreaded ringing overtone.
I proceeded to retune the reso and batter heads and it was still there.
Slapped on a couple of gels and it disappeared.
Thinking of trying an Evans ER Snare ring in place of the gels.
I hear they work great and look clean.
