I use this brand I usually use super slinky of all sorts and find them reliable and consistent. I ordered these for my girlfriends guitar and for a child size guitar. When you shorten the neck it can help to go up a gauge or 2. This 3 pack of slinky strings has minimal plastic. The outer box is cardboard just a thin wrap of plastic around each individual set. Slinky 2221 strings
The 10-46 sets are not as strident on the highs as most others , there a little bit smoother on the highs for the E-B-G
strings.
There long lasting and stretch quickly too stay in tune.
These are dynamic and punchy in my tube amps !
Once I set my intonation changing strings my guitar needs little else set to set !
The feel is a little unique as they feel smoother than others and bends are easy and they take extreme bends well no breakage !

My favorite strings
I've tried most electric guitar strings and used to used D'Addario strings, mainly because I could get them for cheap. Then I got more critical about what strings and did a more systematic comparison. These were the clear winner. Great strings, very durable, great tone. Don't even hesitate. Ernie Ball ROCKS!!!!!!!!!
I have been Using Ernie Ball Strings since I was 20 years old and I am now 44 so there must be something good about them. I have tried other brands but always went back to Ernie Ball quick. The "Old Faithful" tried and true 2221's is where it's at for me. Once they are broke in they stay in tune if you're guitar is set up right and takes a while to have to be replaced. I play with 1.2mm picks and I play them hard too. I got them on my Les Paul's, Strats and my Jackson Dinky with a Floyd Rose and that is where you see how well strings hold up is on a Floyd Rose.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Excellent deal! I bought a Strat copy guitar that was a pretty great deal. After setting it up and upgrading the machine heads, I bought these Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings and put them on. That was the icing on the cake! This thing sounds as good as any Strat, 4 times as expensive, that I've ever heard! Great strings to my door.
I love Ernie Ball strings. I've been using them for 20 years. They sound great. They last a long time. For my money they can't be beat. Hard to go wrong with Earnie Balls
They arrived fast and it's a good price for 3 packs. That's normally what I pay for just one pack locally.

The One and Only!
I've only been playing guitar for 41 years or so. I love these strings for two main reasons.
The first reason being that these suckers like to hold their tuning once broken in. Once they're comfortable on my guitar, I rarely have to make adjustments..
The second reason I love these things is that they are reasonably priced, and they're made in the USA.
