The Epson LQ series printers are good quality products. The LQ990 appears to be the last one which can run on earlier platforms than XP so if you are running an older Windows be sure to order an LQ590 without a suffix.

It worked for our needs, running a legacy program and dot matrix printers can be difficult. This printer was a gamble, and we're so happy it worked in our favor.

Fantastic.
