Smoker element review
Just now using this element for the first time.
It works better than expected. I have a LARGE stainless steel smoker that
Is propane fired but took forever to get it warm enough. This element brought
My smoker up to 200 in about 1.5 hours. It has now run a continuous 11 hours
and is still glowing red and maintaining my 15.5 lb. Brisket at about 190 degrees.
Outside temperature got down to about 40 overnight so things cooled a bit.
I just turned the dial up a bit and it came back up to 200 faster than the original
Propane burner would have done it. I can run both propane and electric now and the
Electric element is much easier to control than the propane burner.
This is a great buy for the money and if it was made in China (which I doubt), they

TriTip this weekend
I bought this because of the temp adjustment. It worked great. I was able to reach my temp and control it for just the right amount of time to slow smoke a tri-tip. The Heating Element
First off, they shipped it out very fast and in good packaging. After alterations to my home built smoker to accommodate the new element, I finally got to test it out. I ran it through several smoking's. The element heats up fast and holds the temperature very well. The walls on my smoker are thicker than the allowed base of element, so had to inset the element. Dump the digital!
I bought a digital smoker and it worked good until about the time the warranty ran out! The digital controller got squirrely & kept shutting off so I did change out the controller that the company was good enough to send me near the end of the warranty but it had problems similar to the old one but did eventually decide to work long enough for me to finish one smoke job! I'm leary of it so I decided to try and improvise the smoker cabinet to a simpler set up as I love the electric mode of smoking as I have to continually watch my propane smoker to make sure the wind doesn't blow out the flame as it has to be set really low for long smokes! I do believe this thing is going to work really good as all I have to do is cut a hole to attach it under my wood chip chamber and water chamber! Glad someone thought of this thing as I didn't expect to find something like it! With a wireless temperature probe inside the cabinet I should be able to control it quite easily!Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Time to Cook....
Actually I have not cooked with it yet but I did install it in what I call..."One of a Kind Smokey"......It did heat up so I know it works. It's well built and very light weight. Like the directions say....Do Not Use Extension Cords. 450 Watts is all I need to cook with. IMO the 1200 and 1500 watt elements draw too much power and over hours of use.......Hang on to your wallet!!

Very good
Works great. Retrofitted it into my Masterbuilt Pro electric smoker. Always had problems with the factory wiring and digital control box, do I got rid of it all. Always had my eye on this setup to replace it all, to make it simple and dependable.
Downside is, this element is too long for the depth of my Masterbuilt Pro 30 inch smoker, so I had to do A LOT of work to retrofit an external heat shielded box onto the back of my smoker, to accommodate the extra length of this element, where it's plug receptacle end is. It works like a charm though. I wish there were more size choices available, as this is the only size I've ever found. Seems very durable though. Replacement electric BBQ element
I have an older electric BBQ that is no longer in production. The element burned out and I was looking for a replacement. A new electric BBQ would be about $300.00. Fast and easy! Element just like the description, just a tad expensive, but idea for my application. I have an Oklahoma Joe Smoker. It needed a little extra boost. This is just what I needed, thanks.

Heating Element
Great product, appears to be just the thing for fixing my intermittent heating problem w/ 40” MB Smoker. Their electronics keeps intermittently shutting off. Kinda a pain when attempting to maintain constant temp. This element looks great.
Received it 2days quicker than expected. Surprise gift of hater claws included with order. Nice surprise.
Will definitely use these people in the future.
