Edifier R1850DB Active Bookshelf Studio Bluetooth Speakers

Forget the M-Audio's and Edify yourself

Afew years ago my Edifier 1900tii's went awol. They had 5 inch bass speakers and were outstanding so although I'd read some very good reviews of these R1850's, I did not expect them to approach the same level of listening experience as the 1900's with the bass units being smaller at 4 inches.
I have them connected to my smart tv via the optical cable and my windows pc connected to the tv via
HDMI with the speaker on stands about a foot either side of the tv. So for monitor speakers I sit in the 'sweet spot' with the 4" bass units handling music from mimimal techno to string quartets and cinema sounding films. They are a bargain and built to to last. Outstanding performance

For their size these speakers have outstanding performance. I use them with a PC and the improvement over the usual pair of PC speakers is remarkable. One thing to look out for is that using Google Chrome with a MS Windows 10 operating system may lead you to note a very low level of sound output, change you browser to MS Edge and the sound quality and volume will be excellent.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Value for money and close to audiophile quality.

Excellent sound quality and more than enough power for the bookshelf, living room and anywhere else in the home.Hardly takes up much space and can be placed very discreetly. Well worth the price. Great connectivity to all kinds of audio sources.

R1850DB will beat Creative GigaWorks T20 without any problems...

I had Creative GigaWorks T2 3 weeks as PC speakers. Flat space, no bass...
R1850DB is for me absolutely different league for near field listening. Very good decision

God computer speakers

I badly needed some good speakers to use with my computer, to listen to online podasts. It is early days yet, but these R1850DB speakers seem to do all I require of them.
So far, so good.
