The device does the job for which it is intended with one minor caveat. As I recall the embossing label maker would advance the tape after each letter impression was made and this particular one does not. the flaw is not difficult to overcome. For marking for surgery.

I needed a dymo for marking electronics i will have with me for surgery. i have a heavy one that is to bulky to bring.this is like the 1540 i use to have.it prints well and is easy to store.

Amazing Relief After Having Gotten the Latest Plastic One and Regretting It

Fantastic. This is how they were made and how they should still make them, but don't. Could ergonomics be slightly better? If we're being picky, sure. But who are we kidding?
