Works fine.

Cheap but you get what you pay for
Arrived in good time and seems to basically work however...
It was a shame it came without the cable clamp present so I had to hunt around for a spare one to fit.
It seems that the calibration could be a bit out. Although I have not tested the calibration, with a thermometer, it does seem that the water gets extremely hot on a mid-low setting (60) and thus it needs turning down to the minimum (45) to keep the water from being scalding hot.Vollständige Rezension lesen

PERFECT FIT FOR THE JOB
perfect match for the old fault cyulinder thermostat that was playing up and giving that like surging when it turned off.
I bought this match, which made things easy, as it was just the case of take the old one off the side the tank, undo the cover, note the wire locations, undo them and cord grip. then reverse hat to put the new one on.
Advantage being, you did not have to fish round the tank putting holding wire round, as present wire did.
set the temp to about 63-64, which is within the recommended tempature settings for setting the tank temp too.

The product is easy to fit, is a practical replacement for other types, and in this case proved an effective solution to an old worn out cylinder thermostat.

Great Cylinder Thermostat
Vented strap on cylinder thermostat. Good value for a good quality product. Last one I had lasted many years. Very easy to fit. Simple wiring.

A unit that does not work
Having tried various temperature settings the water is always red hot. the unit does not cut off and obviously does not work Rubbish.
