A faithful translation of the classic arcade game Double Dragon 3 on the Sega Genesis!

This is a very good translation on the third arcade game of the hit game series Double Dragon! The graphics and music are excellent! All the moves and enemies from the arcade game are faithfully represented in this conversion. The game controls are not as tight as the arcade but stlll easy to execute on the Genesis 3 or 6 pad controllers. Double Dragon 3 for Sega Genesis / Mega Drive

The graphics for this game are pretty good by Genesis standards. Most of the arcade feel is replicated fairly accurately, however even the arcade DD3 was not the most welcomed of the Double Dragons as it was radically different. The music is a bit repetitous and is nothing special, an option allows you to turn it off. The game sound effects are a little low and hard to hear. Overall, it is also fairly easy, or at least the first several stages were to me. Nothing spectacular, but it can be fun for an hour or so. Don't waste your time with this game.

When I was a kid I used to play the Double Dragon Arcade Game everytime I went bowling. The game was classic. I loved it. Also, the Double Dragon game on Sega Master System was awesome. It was similar to the arcade version. The NES version was kinda like the arcade game and the Sega version, also incredibly good. Double Dragon 2 the revenge was even better then all of them, but the Arcade version was still equal to the 2nd. Double Dragon 3 was just crap. Anyway, the Genesis version of Double Dragon 3 the Arcade game was a huge let down. It was nothing like the 3rd DD on NES, but it still sucks. The fighting is almost non-responsive. You cannot throw 2 or more kicks/punches without getting socked in the face my the baddies. The movements by your character are very slow and for every 5 times you mash the button he will throw maybe one or two punches. I was very excited when I was "The Arcade Game" in the title. But, this game is nothing like the actual arcade games expierence. This game is a big stinker. Don't let the title fool you like me.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Awesome game to play. Very fun lots to do.
