great Tom Baker season

The Key to Time is the umbrella title that links all six serials of the sixteenth season of Doctor Who. it also marks the start of more light-hearted and sillier version of Doctor Who than had previously been portrayed by Tom Baker. its early days but with script editing by Hitchhikers Guide author Douglas Adams this really is the start of my favourite iteration of my favourite Doctor. a mixed bag in quality of stories but always entertaining.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

A great sequence of Fourth Doctor adventures.

This sequence of 6 Fourth Doctor stories is never less than entertaining, and contains three (Douglas Adams fans would probably say four) of the finest Doctor Who adventures - witty, moving, and thought-provoking by turns. Just to redress the balance...

Seeing as eBay's review system has allowed someone who hasn't even GOT this DVD set to give it one star because it's been snarled up in some kind of delivery fiasco, it seems only fair for someone else to try to review it on its actual merits.

And I do actually own a copy!

Okay, so Power of Kroll hasn't the best reputation in the world, but Ribos Operation is delightful and The Pirate Planet is a must for Douglas Adams fans.
