dr dolittle boxset

You cats! get off my lawn

Ok so I maybe I didnt see the same films that all the other reviewers saw to be so positive because Doolittle One is funny, sort of, in places, and Eddie Murphy is about on his 'Haunted House' standard so it is amusing, but certainly no Donkey. Average family fodder. Doolittle Two is a perfect example of why a sequel should not be made and 'poor' is not a big enough word. I laughed once, at the Bear in the toilet scene and that was mostly out of pity. That's it. Other than that. Nothing. A film painfully trying to be funny but being seriously unfunny. Enough said. Doolittle Three I never watched, as the standard fell so far between two and one that I thought if I watched the third it would possibly kill me. It's not just me either; my daughter, who is eight, didnt want to watch the third movie as the last one had bored her so much. There is aparantly, a boxset with a fourth Doolittle movie but I would recommend this for serious diehard insomniacs or people who liked the 'Beethoven' series of films only. Buy a copy if its a good price cos the first one is watchable; its marginally worthy if only for the funny rats and the funny hamster. all 3 films are very funny but the third being the funnest.
the first 2 with eddie murphey are very good and eddie murphey being funny was perfect for the film and the third was not spoilt because the daughter played the part wellVollständige Rezension lesen...
