If you want a sampling of everything Monkees in 29 songs, this is the CD to get. It's got all the hits and a few extras. Michael Nesmith wrote or co-wrote many of the songs and clearly fits right in with the other class of writers who also contribute to songs to the Monkees catalog of recordings on this CD, like Neil Diamond, Harry Nillson, Carole King, Tommy Boyce, Bobby Hart and others. I was just a kid when I first heard these songs while playing around with other kids. But, for some reason my memory is recalling some of them at a much later time. Another great sounding Rhino records cd. This cd has most of the hits spanning the monkees career. A must own cd for monkees fans. I am happy I bought this cd.

Before getting this CD of THE MONKEES best tracks, it has been a long time since I last heard their music. This CD brings back good memories.
