Amazing
Platinum album, two platinum singles and now COME BACK TO ME has just made gold status. Pretty awesome for a "debut" album. Of course us true David Cook fans know there were quite a few albums before this that would have gone gold or platinum had they been on a major record label. David is the most talented overall artist on the market today. He is working on his second album and it can't get released soon enough in my opinion. Hopefully many more to come...
Plus he puts on a great rock show. If you have never seen him live, you should try it just once and you won't regret it.
This is one of very few albums that you can say every song is worth listening to. Nowadays when you can just buy the songs you like (itunes) to have a platinum album is pretty good.

GOOD FIRST CD AFTER WINNING AMERICAN IDOL
I bought this self-titled cd as a gift for a latecomer to the group of David Cook fans. This recipient heard David's "This Loud Morning" cd (his newest to date) and loved it. Asked me to pick up David's previous cd. HE never would give Idol winners a chance, but times have changed!
This cd produced just after David won AI is a good, first cd - a must for his collection. Contains the radio hit "Light On". "This Loud Morning", his second endeavor, gets even better as his music matures and his own writing skills surface. Buy both!Vollständige Rezension lesen...
love the music and enjoy listening to complete cd
Cheaper to buy on line than in store, even with discounts in store, gas and taxes add more than it was worth to run out and get at the local music or book store. Watched idol for the season and thought he would win. Most versitile of all those who performed last year. David Cook has a voice like no other! After winning American Idol, his debut album includes the hits "Come Back To Me," "Light On," and "The Time Of My Life." I dont buy many new cd's but he really is talented and the entire cd has great songs would highly recommend it. i enjoy listening to it.

I loved David Cook's voice and imaginative arangements on some of the songs he sang on the "idol" show. He should have stuck with what won him the title of American Idol. The best sounding American Idol since Kelly Clarkson! Teddy Bear Ruben Studdard was good, but unfortunatley didn't have a smash hit. David Cook's first "album" could be the start of a long career as singer/musician. This CD has more than a few great songs.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
