shapeshifter dev peltrier has stood guard at the front of sanctuary for almost 200 years and in that time he's seen it all.
i liked that the hero and heroine actually liked each other from the start.
i could do without the breaking up for your own good scenerio.
but you really need to read the series in order to follow some of the back plot.
the ending is a little bit of a clif hanger.

THE DARK HUNTER BOOK SERIES BY SHERRILYN KENYON IS GREAT. I NEEDED SOMETHING NEW TO READ AFTER THE BLACK DAGGER BROTHER HOOD SERIES BY J.R.WARD AND WAS TURNED ON TO THIS SET BY A FRIEND. BOTH SERIES ARE SIMULAR IN WAYS AND ARE EXCITING AND HEART RENCHING. IF YOU LIKE THE BLACK DAGGER BROTEHRHOOD BOOKS YOU'LL ENJOY THE DARK HUNTER SERIES AS WELL. HOPE YOU ENJOY AS MUCH AS I DID. HAD TO BUY THE WHOLE SERIES OF HARDBACKS FOR LONG TIME KEEP SAKE REPEAT READING TO ADD TO MY COLLECTION. Awesome book for a great price!
Good book. Great stand alone, but a plus to the series. It filled in some gaps and I got to get some insight and up dates on previous characters. And a look at the possiblities af all the new ones! I still want to kick Nick's butt for bedding with Artemis and dissing Ash! That kid still has NOT grown up! And he's supposed to be all powerful Malachi! Gah! Good read! Couldn't put it down!
Sad that this is the last book of the Dark Hunter series. I didn't want it to end. Great book with Dev and Dark Hunter Sam. It ties everything in the past together and has a great ending. Hope to have more of this author to read.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Always Love Going to Sanctuary!!!!!
Every series coming from Sherrilyn Kenyon is worth the price of the book, even in hard back. Sanctuary is one of my favorite setting for the Dark-Hunter series and I love the the Were's. The books is really great and the characters had you right at the edge of your seat wanting to know what was going to happen next.
